Activity #1 (5-10 minutes)
Get to know each other | Знакомимся друг с другом
Play a very simple game. Think of 3 facts about you. Make two of them true, and one false. Tell it to the group or your partner – let them guess. Listen to others and guess what facts about them are true or false.

Example:
– #1. My name is Rustem. #2. I work in KPMG. #3. I speak Korean language fluently.
–I think you don't speak Korean!
–Yes, you are right! But I want to learn this language.
Activity #2 (20 minutes)
Talk for a minute | Monologue + Questions
Go through the topics below. Speak for 1 minute about it without stopping. Then let your partner ask you 1-2 extra questions about your answer. Listen to your partner's monologue and ask 1-2 questions yourself.

Have you ever?
Let's practice a Present Perfect Tense here.

Structure: have/has + V3.

Especially when you ask something like that:
Have you ever jumped with a parachute?
Ты когда нибудь прыгала с парашютом?

So the time when it happened is not important, the action is more important. This is when you use Present Perfect.

Imagine the situations below and discuss what you would do.

Use 'would', 'could', 'might' because you talk about an unreal hypothetical situation.
E.g. I would close the company. – Я бы закрыл компанию.

Situation 1
Your friend has a fifteen-year-old son. Walking home one night you see him in the park with a group of friends, painting graffiti on a wall.

Situation 2
Working late one night, you see a colleague stealing stationery (канцелярия) from a supply cupboard.

Situation 3
Checking your bank account, you realize the bank has made a mistake and there is more money in your account than you should have.

Situation 4
Paying for something in a supermarket, the shop assistant gives you too much change.

Situation 5
A friend who you work with is going for promotion (повышение). You know he/she really wants the job. Your boss offers you the promotion instead.

Situation 6
You borrow your partner’s (супруга, парень, девушка, супруг) laptop. While using it, an instant message program pops up and someone says ‘Hi gorgeous’ (красавчик).

If you finish too early, imagine your own situations and ask your partner.
